How to compare ride-hailing fares in Singapore
The same Singapore journey can show different prices across ride-hailing apps. Before booking, check that the pickup point, destination and vehicle category match. A standard private-hire ride and a taxi may follow different pricing rules, so the lowest headline amount is not always a like-for-like comparison.
Timing matters too. Demand, driver availability, traffic and location-specific charges can affect the fare. An expected fare is an estimate based on relevant observations; a typical range adds context about variation. Neither is a live quote or a guaranteed booking price.
Compare SG is developing this kind of independent comparison for Singapore. Public ride searches aren't available yet. Until then, you can use our guides to compare your options and confirm the current price in each provider's own app.
What Early Access users should expect
One search, several providers
We’re preparing comparisons across Gojek, TADA, CDG Zig, Ryde and Geolah. The public search feature isn’t available yet; coverage may vary by route and time.
Expected fare + typical range
Validated recent observations can provide an expected fare and typical range for the journey.
No invented fares
If there is not enough reliable recent evidence, we show that honestly instead of filling in a number.
Booking stays with the provider
Compare SG does not request rides, match drivers or process payments. The provider app confirms the final fare and completes the booking.
Provider coverage expands only when the evidence and operational safeguards are strong enough. Provider inclusion does not imply partnership.

Compare SG started from a simple frustration: why should booking one ride mean checking several apps first? We thought there should be a simpler first step — compare your options, choose the provider you prefer, then book directly with them.
