SLA OneMap

Singapore locations, addresses and maps

OneMap is the official authoritative map of Singapore, provided by the Singapore Land Authority (SLA). Compare SG uses OneMap for address search, location resolution, and map display.

LTA DataMall

Traffic and transport information

LTA DataMall is the Land Transport Authority of Singapore's open data platform. Compare SG uses LTA DataMall for near-real-time traffic incidents, speed bands, road works and taxi-availability context.

OSRM / OpenStreetMap routing

Driving distance, duration and route geometry

Compare SG uses server-side OSRM routing based on OpenStreetMap road data to calculate the driving route, distance and estimated route duration used in the comparison.

NEA via data.gov.sg

Weather and rainfall

The National Environment Agency (NEA) provides weather forecasts and rainfall readings through data.gov.sg. Compare SG uses 2-hour area forecasts and rainfall station data to show current weather conditions.

Public holiday information

The Ministry of Manpower (MOM) publishes Singapore public holiday dates through data.gov.sg. Compare SG uses this to display holiday context and day-type information.

Ride-provider fare observations

Recently collected and validated fare observations

In preparation for controlled beta, Compare SG has collected fare observations and is working to validate the evidence used for expected fares and typical ranges across Gojek, TADA, CDG Zig, Ryde and Geolah. Public ride searches are not yet available, and coverage may vary by journey.

Coverage and freshness can differ by provider, route and time. When there is not enough reliable recent evidence, Compare SG does not invent an expected fare. The provider app confirms the current fare and availability before booking.

Compare SG is independent. Government-data references above do not imply endorsement. Listing, checking or linking to a ride provider does not imply an official partnership, commercial relationship or provider API integration unless we explicitly say otherwise.
